I received the letter below from a website visitor and they were requesting to contact one of the other readers Methadone Comments. Below are their comments on Methadone Addiction. Why do you think they call it Dope?
 

I want to address the Methadone Counselor who said A.A. and N.A. were not recovery.

Are you using the Methadone also because your thinking is very
twisted. You can not even begin to work on recovery until you stop using mind altering drugs. To say you have to do this before getting off is the most insane thing I have ever heard. This person is a danger and obviously has a vested interest in her or his career.

Methadone is dope. Maybe that explains it.
