I was a patient in the methadone clinic for two years. I was recently indicted on a first degree trafficking charge. After I posted a 10,000 cash bond the judge put other non financial restrictions on me, NO MORE NARCOTICS.

I thought that I would just die. It has now been 31 days since my last 80mg. of methadone. I have went through pure HELL. But I am getting better every day. I know believe that she did me a favor.

I have been a drug addict for 25 years. The last ten years of my life have been hell. I had to have pills just to function. That is a very bad way to live and anybody that has been there would understand. Your life becomes a living hell and when you are withdrawing that is when you get thoughts of suicide. I was in heaven in the methadone clinic , I was never sick and felt good all of the time. I thought I was in it for life I had no intentions of ever leaving the clinic. We need to face the fact that we can't feel good all of the time. I have to keep a positive attitude or I would end up breaking over. I still have some bad days. but it feels so good to say that I am finally drug free. If I can do it I know that anybody can.
