A WAKEUP CALL
I lay down at night, there’s know one here
Being alone is what I most fear.
My girlfriend, fiancé and all that I had
All that is left is a heart that is sad.
My beautiful son running around
His smile and laughter is know where found.
Another day another night
This Feeling of loneliness
I hope I can fight
If I wake up tomorrow and my first thought is my son
Then this battle with coke and know I have won.
If I lay down tonight without a drink in my hand
Then all I will face I know I can stand.
The pain that I caused, the hurt that you felt
Is why I’m alone, it’s the hand that I dealt.
For the rest of my life I’ll live without drugs
The only fix that I need is my son’s hugs.
