I would have never thought of myself as an antique collector until I started diving in Marine City. The dives here last from about 1 hour to about 1 1/2 hours in about 20- 30 Ft of water. On these dives I usually find a good place to dig, (By Instinct) that I feel is going to produce bottles.

 I will start fanning away the bottom slowly going back in time as I go deeper. I have found as many as about 6 good bottles on a single dive. And I have also gone many dives without finding a single bottle or artifact. Other artifacts I have uncovered include brass kerosene lanterns, clay sailors pipes, crockery, and a wood block and tackle to name a few.
