Crab Verses Pipe
I picked up the above video about a
year ago and it came from some kind of underwater research site. This is
an Underwater ROV Video from a pipeline repair operation. I think that
they said it was at a depth of 6000 feet, the saw blade is a 16 inch blade
about 1/10" thick.
The description went on to add
that the outside pressure is that of 6000 feet of 2700 psi, or 1.3 tons
per square inch. seawater and the the
pressure of the inside was that of surface pressure 14.7 psi. Along comes
a large crab just minding his own business and wham he gets instantly
sucked into this tiny 1/10" slit, now you see him, now you don't!
