Flying down the river in the brisk current at about 30 feet deep with the visibility
about 50 foot a couple of feet off of the bottom feels like driving a car
down the freeway except at this time of year there is very little traffic
and just like the freeway there is a nice little exit ramp right down by
the Port Huron YMCA. If you miss this exit there is an 8 - 10 foot seawall
for the next 1/2 mile or so and they take out the escape ladders in the
winter time so that the ice wont damage them.
