Michigan Diving

Michigan is famous for it's Great Lakes shipwrecks. The wrecks in Michigan's Bottomland Preserves are in excellent condition because they are in fresh water and due not suffer the extensive corrosion found on saltwater wrecks. Another factor is that the wooden wrecks are not attacked by worms that bore holes

and make quick work of saltwater wrecks. Michigan is also known for the exciting High Impact thrills of diving the St. Clair river rapids under the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron to the more laid back bottle and artifact collecting further down river in St. Clair, Algonac and Marine City to diving the hundreds of inland lakes.
