| Lighthouse Reef is the second
largest barrier reef in the world. And of course when you travel here you get world class
diving. Excellent food, warm tropical breeze's and great memories. For this trip I stayed at Lighthouse Reef Resort. Lighthouse Reef
Atoll lies approximately 50 miles off of the coast of Belize. It has it's own airstrip
that makes it a snap getting to the Island. At Lighthouse Reef it is never crowded and is
not swarming with tourists.
Lighthouse Reef is truly a laid back and relaxing
resort from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you are looking for action packed
nights at the Disco or Casino this is not the Island for you.
I was shooting underwater video for most of this
trip so I only have a couple of photos. I was able to take a lot of land photos at the
Belize Zoo, and the Mayan Ruins that I will be adding to the gallery later.
