| This is one of my favorite
shore dives on the river because of the easy entrance and exit. Climbing
the escape ladders up by Edison park in a full drysuit rig with a pony
bottle, weight belt, and ankle weights is not my idea of having fun.
Although I also know that many
people may think that my sense of fun is a little warped due to the fact
that I enjoy going diving in the worst possible conditions for my diving
enjoyment
so what can I say?
On this particular day the air temperature was 14
degrees with a wind chill factor of -25 degrees and the water
temperature was 32 degrees with lots of ice flowing on the river.
Because the current is so fast here the river is almost always open.
